Eco Certificazioni carries out, upon the client's request, safety inspections and verifications on automatic gates and barriers in order to evaluate the maintenance of the safety requirements pursuant to the technical standards of reference (UNI EN 14351-1 and UNI EN 13241-1) as well as verify the obligation of the CE marking according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

The standards on gate automation, updated by the European Community with Directive 98/37/EC, establishes that automatic gates must be considered as actual machinery, and as such must respect specific safety standards and therefore carry out periodic safety controls.

For automatic gates there is also the obligation to periodically verify the correct functioning in conformity with the Machinery Directive of the Lgs. Decree 2010/17. The technical dossier and the successive controls are necessary to guarantee maximum safety of the automation and safeguard those using it in case of an accident due to its malfunctioning.
