GREAT BRITAIN – UKCA MARK
The British government has announced the indefinite extension of the recognition of the CE marking for the market of Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland).
CE AND UKCA MARKING
Great Britain has recently recognized the indefinite validity of the CE mark together with the UKCA mark. The Department for Enterprise and Commerce has in fact announced its intention to streamline procedures and lighten corporate burdens on companies. The affixing of the UKCA mark will however testify that the product complies with all UK legislative requirements and that the conformity assessment procedures have been successfully completed.
ECO CERTIFICATIONS UK
With the foundation of the new ECO Certifications UK, we offer to all those who wish to market their products both in the European Union and in Great Britain, the possibility of obtaining the CE Marking according to European regulations, through its notification (issued in Italy by ECO Certifications), and the UKCA Certification (issued in Great Britain by ECO Certifications UK).
Specifically, the double certification ECO service is applicable to:
- Noise Directive 2000/14/CE and related Regulation UKCA Noise Emission in the Environment by Equipment for use Outdoors Regulations 2001
- Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and related Regulation UKCA Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008
Furthermore, the Fincasale Group offers a technical service for verifying compliance with the UKCA requirements for all product categories in the electrical sector where the intervention of the Notified Body is not required.
