NEW STANDARD EN 1493

The standard that defines the state of the art in the designing and production of vehicle lifts IS CHANGING. The current version of the vehicle lifts’ standard will be withdrawn in the next months due to the many shortcomings and the many possibilities to misinterpretate it.

Giovanni Dallapiccola, engineer with many years of experience in the design of vehicle lifts and who has actively contributed to the drafting of the new version of the EN 1493 standard, will introduce the most relevant regulatory changes that need to be known to design safe vehicle lifts that already comply with the new CE standard.
